New Bethel Apostolic Church of God in Christ
To offer a place for those who seek Refuge, Protection, Provision and Godly Instructions.
To meet those who are unable to make it to the house of Worship at there place of need.
To pursue a Holy Lifestyle in all areas of our lives, allowing Jesus Christ to witness through our walk and not just our talk.
We believe the Bible to be inspired of God; the infallible Word of God. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instructions in righteousness" (2Timothy 3:16).
The Bible (Word of God) is the only God-given authority which man possesses; therefore all doctrine, faith, hope, and instructions for the church must be based upon, and harmonize with the bible. It is to be read and studied by all believers everywhere. It is this same Word of God whereby we have authority in heaven and on earth by means of the Spirit of Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 John 2:27) (Luke 10:17-20)
We are many faces, yet we believe in One Lord, One Faith, and One Baptism.
(Ephesians 4:5)
Jesus Christ commissioned His disciples to go into all the world and preach the Gospel, baptizing those who believe in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:19)
After searching the Scriptures and through the revelation of the Holy Spirit, we understand that there is one Name that applies to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost — and that Name is Jesus Christ.
Jesus said:
“Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me? … he that hath seen me hath seen the Father.”
(John 14:9)
Jesus also declared:
“I and my Father are one.”
(John 10:30)
We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God manifested in the flesh for the salvation of mankind.
Jesus taught His disciples concerning the coming of the Comforter, saying:
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name…”
(John 14:26)
Throughout the New Testament, every recorded baptism was administered in the Name of Jesus Christ:
Therefore, we baptize believers in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, according to the Apostolic doctrine taught by the early Church.
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…”
(Acts 2:38)
We believe baptism is an outward expression of inward faith, identifying the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Welcome to New Bethel Apostolic Church of God in Christ — a ministry rich in history, founded upon the truth of God’s Word and a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
New Bethel Apostolic Church of God in Christ was founded in 1927 by the visionary leader and pioneer, Bishop Alton Dewey Bradley. Through prayer, holiness, and unwavering faith in God, Bishop Bradley established a ministry dedicated to preaching Jesus Christ as the one true and living God and Savior of the world.
In 1945, the ministry was officially incorporated under the leadership of Founder Bishop A. D. Bradley and Co-Founder Mother A. G. Bradley. Together, they laid a strong spiritual foundation that would impact generations to come.
As the ministry experienced rapid growth, New Bethel expanded into five thriving locations throughout California:
During this historic season, New Bethel became widely known as “One Church in Five Locations.” Founder Bishop A. D. Bradley faithfully pastored both the Los Angeles and Richmond congregations simultaneously until his transition from labor to reward in 1965.
Following the passing of the Founder, the ministry continued to flourish under divine direction, expanding throughout the United States and into international regions, planting churches and spreading the Apostolic message of Jesus Christ worldwide.
New Bethel Apostolic Church of God in Christ was established firmly upon the Oneness doctrine taught by the Apostle Paul — proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the Almighty God manifested in the flesh, and that salvation is found only through Him alone.
Today, New Bethel continues to stand as a beacon of hope, holiness, love, and truth, committed to impacting lives through worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and the power of the Holy Ghost.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8
